I went to take Midnight out in the yard for a while so she can play a bit before it got too hot.

I noticed Midnight was staring at one of the columns on the veranda so when I went to see what she was fixated on I then saw the grasshopper and it clicked that Midnight was staring it and that the grasshopper was looking back at her.

So I ran to get my camera and surprisingly enough the grasshopper let me take a few photos he didn’t even move.

I was very proud of Midnight she was very good and did not try to make the grasshopper her new play toy.

And before you ask no I did not get a picture of Midnight looking at the grasshopper I did not want to press my luck and ruin my chances of getting a photo of the grasshopper.

Below are a few I got from our encounter.

In this photo below I think he was trying to get whatever that stuff was above him. As soon as the grasshopper left I hosed it down to wash it off.
